Fall leaves and falling leaves

Hello all,
We spent yesterday looking for beautiful fall leaves and spending time with distant friends. We spent some time with a family who adopted a year ago that lives about two hours from us. The girls played and romped and ate and rode in the wagon. Mom's and dad's talked and shared our stories and how things were going since we parted last. We then headed back toward the house with another stop to visit a family that had lived across the street and had moved a little west. We met their 5 month old son and they met Mae-Lei for the first time. Tracy is a speech pathologist and was pleased with how Mae-Lei sounded. Their new son(5 months old) is adorable. We had Asian food for dinner. Great food. Mae threw her rice everywhere, but ate some as well. Fortunately, it looked like more went in her than on the floor.
